Bridge of Sighs

Enclosed 17th-century stone bridge known for the legend of prisoners sighing as they caught one last glimpse of Venice. Best views from Ponte della Paglia or by gondola beneath it; you can join the interior tour to walk through the passage, but expect crowds.
