Built in 1910 as a replica of an 11th-century cathedral, this Georgian Orthodox church brings carved stone, ornate paintings, and a domed interior to central Tbilisi. Entry is free, but dress modestly: women need a headscarf, and photography isn’t allowed inside—pause for the incense and occasional choir singing.
