Triumfal'naya Arka

Oldest surviving triumphal arch in Moscow, built 1829–1834 by Giuseppe Bova to commemorate Russia’s victory over Napoleon; it's a photogenic landmark with classical sculptures. Visit in winter for Christmas lights and ice sculptures—easy to combine with a walk through the nearby park, best at dusk.
