Come for the view, not for the food. The view over Tbilisi is absolutely stunning, but the food and drinks are pretty average.

Perfect 3.5 km walk around the lake 🤍 Just avoid weekends if you can, it gets really crowded.

Perfect escape for weekends from Tbilisi, only 1 hour far away. Cozy hotel with SPA zone (sauna, hammam, hot tub outside). There’s also a marani here where you can enjoy great red wine and amber wine. You can also play tennis here — with scenic courts just a two-minute walk from the château. Hike to the castle, sip wine, play tennis — the perfect weekend!
I was really impressed by this castle. Even though we couldn’t get close (the current was too strong), it looks incredibly unique. And it’s just an hour from Tbilisi, I’ll definitely come back for a hike. You can actually start a scenic 15 km hike from there. I’ll be back for sure!

One of the few five-star hotels in Gudauri. The rooms are average, but the breakfasts are good and the restaurant is quite nice. There’s also a great jacuzzi, that’s definitely a highlight! 😍
Service there is top! My French toast was great. Also want to return for breakfast 🤍
